Glen Ridge Black Diversity and Inclusion Association

Glen Ridge Black Diversity & Inclusion Association seeks to create a safe space for BIPOC families in the Glen Ridge community by providing support and information on resources, cultural events in and around the Glen Ridge.  GRBDIA was created in 2019 by a group of mothers, with the support of the Glen Ridge community, to create a safe space for brown and black children and families. These women forged a path to have an open dialogue with the Glen Ridge Public School Administrator and Board of Education to address the gaps with diversity and inclusion in the school system. It was through those efforts and support from the community that GRBDIA was born.
